In December 2010, Texas Monthly released a list of the 50 Best Mexican restaurants in Texas. This is a list of all of the Houston restaurants featured in the article. It is the most comprehensive collection of old favorites and culturally authentic Mexican restaurants in the city.
I intend for this list to evolve over time. I added Armando’s and Hugo’s to round out the list at ten restaurants. I also welcome respectful feedback on any restaurants that you feel are missing or should not be on this list.
